Senior Graphic Designer

As part of the McGraw-Hill Companies Education Division, I was happy to be a part of a large of team of creatives, designing and producing textbooks tailored for students in grades K through 6. QuarkXPress was the primary page-layout tool, with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop being the go-to graphic-development programs. My skills as an artist came into play with the development of custom designs and illustrations. Brought on initially as a Graphic Designer, I demonstrated dedication, creativity and initiative, leading to subsequent permanent employment and promotion to the position of Senior Graphic Designer within the year.
